Let's set the record straight. Should Jesus tarry we're all going to pass from this life into the next.
And I'm not saying that you'll never feel ill. In fact, there were some (even believers) in the Bible who got sick. Timothy had often infirmities (1 Timothy 5:23). Epaphroditus was sick even unto death (Philippians 2:25-27). So, I'm not saying you'll never feel poorly.
But what I am saying is that if God provides a Covenant of Healing then we ought to stand for it, believe it and receive it.
Healing is a benefit of the Lord. It is granted freely like salvation. You can't earn salvation. It is simply granted, and we receive it by faith.
Healing is like that. You can't earn it. Fasting and prayer puts you in a position to receive, but you can't twist God's arm. Healing is simply granted to us by our loving Father. Yet, so many Christians leave that benefit on the table.
Just as quickly as God forgives, He heals. Look at the passage! They are both right there in the same verse. There's no difference. They are both equally provided.
So, fight for your healing. Don't let the devil tell you any longer that you're not healed. Grab a hold onto your benefit. Fight for it. And never let it go.
For healing is the children's bread (Matt 15:21-28). And God wishes that you prosper and be in health (3 John 2). You have a right to be healed.
So, stand firm in the faith. And demand that your body be healed.
I'll help you tomorrow by giving you a set of Healing Confessions. You should declare them until your healing is manifested.
For what you decree will be established (Job 22:28 KJV). And what you decide on will be done (Job 22:28 NIV).
